Double edge splice tape for 72mm wide carrier tape can be used on paper or plastic tape, punched or formed pockets, and any cover tape. It is primarily used for splicing on-the-fly without removing a tape feeder from the pick and place machine. It was developed for all Panasonic, new Yamaha, and new Juki smart feeders with splice detection. Self alignment pins that stick through the sprocket holes on an extra hard plastic cover allows for quick and easy alignment, without the need for any other alignment jigs.
