Carrier Tape Extenders
Carrier Tape Extenders are an alternative to Cover Tape Extenders and are used for carrier tape with no leader that needs to be started in a tape feeder. There are some feeders that can’t use Cover Tape Extenders and these are an economical solution. They are also very popular with customers who are making their own small reels of components for leader and trailer. They come in 95 meter reels so you can cut exactly the length you need for your situation.
They are available in 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 44, and 56mm widths, and is antistatic black material with no pockets and heat sealed cover tape.
